Here’s the situation. Like most couples my wife and I were arguing over finances one night. Although later she would say she just said it to hurt me at the time, my daughter was my entire world and that was no way to hurt someone. The thought lingered in the back of my mine as the days went by. I caught myself examining my daughter, like a mad scientist who just discovered a new fungus. I would spend hours just looking at my daughter. Some days I thought I could see myself in her eyes and others it was as if she was a stranger. Even my mother told me I was having foolish thoughts and that she was one hundred percent certain that Katie was my blood.

I could not help but think about all of the talk shows that I have seen, were others were positive beyond a shadow of a doubt just to find out that they were wrong. Could I be one of those people that I once laughed at on television?

The battle over finances still continued. My wife must have had enough of living from paycheck to paycheck, and started having an affair with her boss. She had crossed the line in the sand and enough was enough. I filed for a divorce, but while filing I also requested a paternity test be taken. To my surprise the courts denied my request, stating that the time frame that I had to seek paternity testing had expired. So when I pose the question of, “How To Beat The System.” I mean beat them at their own game. I was looked upon as being a dead beat dad.

I began shouting this wrong doing to anyone that would listen. I wrote my state congressmen, senator, I even wrote to the white house. I took my fight to the Internet posting my story to every website that I could. I posted copies of the responses from various agencies who were screwing me over online. I did not blackout or attempt to hide everything. I stated the name of prosecutors, judges, and politicians.

The threats started pouring in. I even received a little local press coverage. Men and women from all over began to support me. The local support was outstanding. The majority of child support systems around the world are extremely outdated. It is not about being fair its about the money. Everyone is making money from your personal tragedy – the child support system, lawyers, judges and a lot more. There are a ton of people who profit from your misfortune. It is important for you to understand that. If you think that is just crazy talk you are in for a real eye-opener my friend.

To answer the question to, regarding beating the system I say this – You should make sure that you keep copies of everything you do no matter how insignificant it may be at the time. Everyone that you deal with in the legal and child support system has someone that they answer to. Do not be afraid to go over their heads if need be. Do not be afraid to write to the media sources in your area. And more importantly take your battle online. You will be amazed at how powerful the Internet can be.
